The short version: Presence does not collect, store, or share any personal data. Everything you enter stays on your device.
Presence ("the app") is a mindfulness app published by Good Spirit. We built it to be calm and private. This policy explains what data the app handles and how.
None. The app has no account, no login, and no server that receives your information. We do not collect personal data, usage analytics, advertising identifiers, or location.
To work, the app saves a few settings locally on your device, such as your chosen reminder times, active days, frequency, and prompt categories. In the Loving Awareness feature, any names you type or photos you choose are also stored only on your device. This information never leaves your phone and is not transmitted to us or anyone else. Deleting the app removes it.
If you add a photo in the Loving Awareness feature, it is used only to display on screen during your practice and is stored locally on your device. Photos are never uploaded, shared, or accessed by us.
Reminders are scheduled locally on your device using iOS notifications. They are generated on-device and do not involve any server or push service operated by us.
The app contains no analytics, no advertising, and no third-party tracking software. We do not track you across apps or websites.
We do not sell, rent, or share your data, because we do not collect any.
The app does not knowingly collect any information from anyone, including children under 13.
This website (thepresence.app) is a set of static pages. It does not use cookies, accounts, or tracking. Like most websites, our hosting provider may keep standard, anonymized server access logs for security and reliability.
If we update this policy, we will revise the date at the top of this page.
